Sarasota’s flourishing Arts and Culture scene is what makes the city uniquely vibrant, livable, and desirable. Our incredible range of diverse cultural institutions makes the city exciting, the people happier, and the economy prosperous. This is why Sarasota is Florida’s beating cultural heart.

But the very things that make Sarasota special are under threat by groups who support candidates that are uniformly against any progress and development. They say no to new theatres, gardens and parks under the guise of protecting our quality of life. They are inflicting real damage to treasured Sarasota institutions and would prevent exciting new opportunities for the future.

PAC Sarasota will defend the institutions that bring our citizens pride and joy, protect the places that are crucial to Sarasota’s dynamic spirit, and help our Arts and Culture community not just survive, but thrive.
